How to reach Ischia

Air
From Naples Capodichino Airport you can reach the port of Naples by taxi or the bus. A shuttle bus connects the airport to the center of Naples and the ticket is purchased on board.

Train
The central station is about 2 km from the port of Naples, which can be easily reached by bus, the ticket can be bought at the station. You can also reach the ferry to Ischia by taxi.

Auto
After the exit for Naples  continue for about 8 miles and follow the directions for Naples port area and then the signs for Massa Wharf Quay and the boat to Ischia. It is also possible to go by car from the port of Pozzuoli, you must take the bypass towards Pozzuoli, drive along the ring road and take the first exit after the "Via Campana" sign and follow the signs to the port.

The ports of departure
You can reach Ischia on the ferry. The port from which the hydrofoils leave are Beverello or the Mergellina, both in Naples. Another port from which ferries leave is the the port of Pozzuoli.
